San Diego Nashco is a nonprofit organization which is striving to enrich lives. Our goal is to assist our citizens in improving their lives, gain confidence, personal strength and assistance necessary to achieve and build up the capacity of their self sufficiency, to break the isolation and cycle of poverty, despair, to achieve a better grasp on what affects their lives, in order to raise their standard of living.  We provide counseling in many areas:  substance abuse counseling, drug and or alcohol; Marriage Counseling; Parenting; Anger Management, Money Management, etc.  We also provide assistance in other areas: legal assistance, job training, finances problem assistance, Food, and housing assistance.  Our employment assistance incorporates job preparation, resume assistance, application completion, successful interviewing, mock interviews, dressing for successful interviewing, selling yourself for the position, finding your area in the work force, and also some training.  We have an online computer lab for your use to assist with job listings, referrals, and job availability.  We provide current job referral listings.

San Diego Nashco targets the at-risk population of the city, which includes the homeless, those with drug and alcohol issues, low-income families, seniors, youth, minorities, those in re-entry programs, and the educationally challenged.

 WE OFFER EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE WHICH INCLUDES:  job preparation, resume assistance, application completion assistance, successful interviewing, mock interviews, dressing for successful interviewing, selling yourself for the position, etc.   We provide an online computer lab to assist you with current job listings, referrals, availability and an up to date job referral listing.   We provide certification of our Employment Preparation to assure employers of your job readiness upon completion.
